Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
Welcome to Nomio. By creating an account or using the Nomio app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Nomio. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Choose a username that does not impersonate others or infringe anyone's rights.
3. Acceptable use
Nomio is built on anonymous but respectful conversation. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or harm anyone;
- Post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or content that is illegal or violent;
- Spam, scam, or distribute malware;
- Attempt to unmask anonymous users or violate others' privacy;
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
4. Content & moderation
You are responsible for the content you send. All text and transcribed voice content is screened by automated moderation, and content that violates these terms may be blocked or removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You retain ownership of your content but grant Nomio a license to host, store, transcribe, and display it as needed to operate the Service.
5. Anonymity
Anonymous senders are not identified to recipients. However, anonymity is not a shield for abuse: we retain limited metadata for safety and may cooperate with lawful requests where required.
6. Safety tools
You can block senders, report content, and control who can contact you in Settings. Reporting helps keep the community safe.
7. Termination
You may stop using Nomio at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that messages will always be delivered, that moderation will catch all harmful content, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nomio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
